Hello Fabulous friends,
Fall is here and soon enough we will all be reminded on how chilly it can get! (and how desperately we wish for those summer days to come sooner) We were thinking about Fall, the holidays, snow, etc. and was reminded of an entry we've read on the Be the Change for Animals website.
With the winter season coming up, we wanted to let everyone know about a great way to get rid of old blankets, towels, pet beds, pet toys... Instead of throwing those items away, donate them to your local animal shelter!
Operation Blankets of Love does just that. Shelter animals don't usually have anything to sleep on except for their cold cell and by donating items you no longer need, those same animals will have something comfortable and warm to lay on during those cold winters nights. Happier shelter animals leads to more of them being adopted. Your donations not only provide them with comfort but you also have the chance to save a life!
